Through a partnership of nine government ministries, police, community groups, municipalities, businesses and social agencies, Alberta's Safe Communities Initiative works to address the impact crime is having on our communities, and find meaningful, long-term solutions. While there is no easy fix when it comes to reducing crime and preserving the safety of our communities, through cooperation, community innovation and our commitment, we can improve the safety of Alberta communities.
