The Minister of Public Safety will be announcing the Canada Centre for Community Engagement and Prevention of Violence. The creation of this office was outlined in the Minister’s mandate letter where one of the top priorities was to create an Office of the Community Outreach and Counter-radicalization Coordinator. Under this new office, the Community Resiliency Fund will be officially launched; calls for proposals under the Community Resiliency Fund will open on July 6, 2017.
